This weekend sees the 17th  Festival of Music and Art set in the Ribble Valley village of Ribchester.

Amongst the highlights sees a performance of Handel’s Messiah on the 200th anniversary of his death conducted by Martin Bussey,the festival’s artistic director and a candlelit concert featuring the String Quartet from Oxford University.
